West Business Development Center’s Artists in Action monthly series teaches artists and creatives how to tackle the business side of making a living doing what you love.

Do you have trouble explaining who you are and what you do as an artist? In this 1-hour workshop, we will practice writing about what we do, why we do it, and why it matters. Using simple, structured writing prompts, you will learn to craft a clear and meaningful elevator pitch and short artist statement that expresses your unique identity for your website, grants, publicity, or publications.
